If a lesion is found, they may order a biopsy to determine if its makeup is malignant or benign. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oral cancer is treated the same way most cancers are \u2013 with surgery to remove the growth, radiation therapy, chemotherapy or a combination of the three. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To prevent oral cancer, avoid tobacco products and drink alcohol in moderation. In addition, you should eat a well-balanced diet and limit sun exposure.
